Group Class Descriptions

Basic Circuit Mix: Instructor’s choice class, dependent on the students enrolled in the class and the needs of those students. A fun and challenging way to experience all of the equipment in the studio while receiving a full body workout.

Intermediate Circuit Mix: Instructor’s choice class, dependent on the students enrolled in the class and the needs of those students. A fun and challenging way to experience all of the equipment in the studio while receiving a full body workout.

Intermediate/Advanced Cardio Mix: A high Intensity class combining cardio with Pilates exercises all done on the reformers. A fun but intense class that will give you the awareness you are looking for. This is High Intensity so not recommended for clients recovering from injuries.

Intermediate Power Circuit: Invigorating fusion of Pilates equipment movements, fat burning cardiovascular exercises, as well as full body strength building. The Pilates core training added to movements make this a powerful workout. It is a full body conditioning program that will lengthen and strengthen your muscles. This is a fun, quick paced workout that will work your body from head to toe. This class is ALL-LEVELS

Intermediate/Advanced Power: An intermediate/advanced class that is all about power and strength with Pilates exercises performed on a variety of equipment. This is a powerful, high intensity class, therefore not recommended for beginners or people recovering from injuries.

Power Circuit with Two Instructors: In this innovative class we fuse multiple styles of cardio and exercise elememts with elongaating reformer, chair and cadillac work to offer an all-in-one workout. This class fuses sculpting exercises with cardio elements, and may utilize more than one apparatus to acheive goals. Instructors may use jumpboard which employs principles of plyometrics to train coordination, strengthen muscles and burn calories. This class is for everyone and best of all you have TWO instructors!

Teen Pilates/Barre: This class is designed for all young athletes looking to become more stable and help them remain injury free. Common injuries are due to overuse, muscle imbalances, lack of appropriate flexibility and strength and/or joint instabilities. This class will help enhance your performance and strengthen your skills.

Firm Roll Out: With the use of props such as foam rollers, large and small stability balls, etc this mat class will help build your core strength and increase your flexibility in addition to rolling out tightness and ease sore muscles! With focus on body connections, breathing, alignment and awareness you will learn how to identify your own weaknesses and imbalances and work to restore them.

Power Tower Circuit: This class is ideal for students of all levels. It provides maximum versatility through the use of springs and bars, the equipment supports the body to ensure proper stabilization and positioning, while providing added resistance for strengthening, toning and lengthening the muscles.

Cardio Pilates: In this innovative class we fuse multiple styles of modern cardio and exercise elements with elongaating reformer work to offer am all-in-one workout. This class fuses, reformer sculpting exercises with cardio elements, and may utilize more than one apparatus to acheive goals. Instructor may use jumpboard which employs principles of plyometrics to train coordination, strengthen muscles and burn calories. This class allows you to get cardio aerobic training with very little stress or impact on the joints and the springs help the muscles tone without bulking. This class is for anyone looking to strengthen lower body joints, get relief from osteoporosis or just looking to get a killer fat-burning workout!

Firm Barre Fusion: Sculpt your legs, lift your seat, define your abs and chisel your arms with this body-sculpting fusion class. We'll combine lengthening and sculpting elements of Pilates reformer with your favorites from ballet barre. Class may include props such as ankle weights, stability balls, free weights, mat work and more. Proper form and alignmenet are emphasized while targeting each and every muscle group.
